Miroslav Lajčak, the EU Special Representative for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, visited Skopje today to attend an event organized by the Parliament of North Macedonia.
Lajčak conveyed a clear message, emphasizing that EU membership is a demanding process that requires historic compromises. He stated that North Macedonia must remain focused on this goal, underscoring the importance of unity within society to succeed in the journey toward EU integration.
“My message was clear: EU membership is challenging, it requires historic compromises, and it needs the entire society to succeed. North Macedonia must stay focused on this goal,” Lajčak wrote.
