After returning from Paris, Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani met today with the Chairman of the Central Election Commission (KQZ), Kreshnik Radoniqi, to discuss the electoral process and emphasize the importance of ensuring its integrity.

Election Transparency and System Review

According to the Presidential Office, Radoniqi assured Osmani that KQZ is working diligently to confirm every vote cast for political parties during the candidate vote-counting process. He highlighted that extra precautions are being taken to ensure full consistency between registered votes in the system and those in ballot boxes.

Radoniqi also stated that KQZ is still awaiting a final security report on the technical issues affecting the election results platform. “This report will help evaluate and address the identified issues, ensuring full transparency regarding the cause of the problem,” the statement read.

President Osmani reiterated the need for institutional coordination to protect the integrity of the electoral process and the will of the people. She emphasized that both electronic and manual vote counting should reconfirm each ballot to eliminate any doubts.
