The British Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, met today with the Chairman of the Central Election Commission (KQZ), Kreshnik Radoniqi, to discuss the ongoing electoral process.

According to a statement from KQZ, Radoniqi informed the ambassador that the counting of parliamentary candidate votes is underway in the Municipal Counting Centers, with most municipalities having already completed the process.

The discussion also covered the assessment of ballot packages from the diaspora.

“Radoniqi also briefed the British ambassador on other ongoing processes within the KQZ, including the evaluation of ballot packages from overseas voting, specifically those cast via mail,” the statement read.

Ambassador Hargreaves commended KQZ for the smooth and successful electoral process on February 9 and acknowledged the commission’s efforts to ensure the ongoing procedures are conducted swiftly and transparently.
