Albanian and Hungarian soldiers from the Kosovo Force (KFOR) recently carried out joint training activities at the Novosella Camp to maintain their high operational readiness.

KFOR reports that the Albanian soldiers from the Regional Command-West and Hungarian trainers from the Tactical Reserve Battalion of the NATO-led mission regularly conduct fire training activities at Novosella Camp, according to KosovaPress.

“These efforts are part of KFOR’s daily mission to ensure a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo,” reads the statement from KFOR on Facebook, as reported by KosovaPress.

KFOR continues to carry out its mandate – based on the UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 – to contribute to a secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo, as well as the freedom of movement at all times. KFOR works closely with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective security response roles.
