The Government of Kosovo is expected to review the Initiative for signing a Framework Agreement on cooperation in the field of defense between the Republic of Kosovo and the United States of America, represented by the Department of Defense, in tomorrow’s meeting.
In January of this year, the Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, after his visit to the United States Department of Defense, announced that discussions had taken place regarding the realization of the framework agreement in the defense field.
The announcement emphasized that this agreement “will open new opportunities in the field of security and defense.”
In tomorrow’s meeting, the government is also expected to make decisions on several compensations.
Additionally, tomorrow, the initiative for signing the General Security Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Slovenia, for the Exchange and Mutual Protection of Classified Information, is expected to be reviewed.
