North Macedonia’s Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident at a nightclub in Kočani, calling it a dark day for the country.
“This is a heavy day for Macedonia. The loss is immense, and the grief of the families is indescribable,” Mickoski stated.
He assured that the government and the people stand with the affected families and will do everything possible to support them. “In these moments of deep sorrow, we are with those who lost their loved ones. The government will take all necessary measures to ease their pain and provide assistance,” he added.
Mickoski also urged authorities, health services, and local institutions to take immediate action to help the injured and support the grieving families.
The prime minister announced that he would address the public later in the day with further details on the steps being taken in response to the tragedy.
