The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, has reacted to the death of Haxhi Thaçi, the father of former Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi.
Haradinaj stated that on this day, the Thaçi family is dealing not only with the loss of their beloved one but also with the absence of former President Hashim Thaçi.

“Sad news about the passing of Haxhi Thaçi, the father of the fighter of the early hours, my comrade-in-arms, and former President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi.
Uncle Haxhi ended his life leaving behind a whole history of challenges and sacrifices, but his passing comes at an even more difficult moment for the Thaçi family. On this day of mourning, the Thaçi family is facing not only the loss of their beloved one but also the absence of Hashim, who, together with other comrades, is defending the sacred war of the KLA in The Hague.
In this moment of sorrow, I stand by my friend and comrade-in-arms Hashim and the entire Thaçi family. May God give you strength!”
