The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, along with his government cabinet, visited the Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK), where he was received by Grand Mufti Naim Tërnava, reports Gazeta Sinjali.
After the visit, Prime Minister Kurti addressed the media, expressing his appreciation for the role of BIK under the leadership of Mufti Tërnava.
Among other things, he extended his best wishes to all citizens for Eid and honored the memory of 37 imams who were martyred during the war.
“Happy Eid al-Fitr to everyone. May God accept the fasting of all believers. Today, we express our gratitude to BIK for helping those in need. In this spring, we also remember with deep respect the 37 hoxhas and imams who are martyrs of our nation from the last war,” Kurti emphasized.
Kurti was accompanied by several ministers and government officials, including Arben Vitia, Albulena Haxhiu, and Hajrulla Çeku.
