The Secretary General of the AAK, Muharrem Nitaj, spoke today following a meeting with the Acting Speaker of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca.
Nitaj stated that the process of forming a government is highly complicated.
“Until now, there are no signs that VV has secured the necessary numbers to form the government,” Nitaj said.
He also mentioned that everything remains open for the opposition.
“Everything remains open for the opposition, which, if united, has the majority, although this formula is also quite complicated. It seems that even the constitution of the Assembly will be a complex process,” said Nitaj.
Furthermore, the Secretary of AAK added that during today’s meeting with the Speaker of the Assembly, it was mentioned that according to the Rules of Procedure, the Assembly is considered constituted after the election of the Speaker and five Deputy Speakers, including two deputy speakers from the Serb minority and other non-majority communities.
“According to this logic, it is possible that the constitution of the Assembly could be in the hands of the Serb List! It seems like someone is working to create chaos and send the country back to elections,” said Nitaj.
