The European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, will today host an informal dinner with the foreign ministers of the Western Balkan countries.

According to the announcement, during this working dinner, the ministers will discuss key issues related to the region’s European integration, as well as current challenges in regional security and cooperation.

“During a working lunch, the ministers will explore ways to advance the EU’s engagement with its Western Balkan partners,” the statement said.

Kallas is also expected on Monday to brief EU foreign ministers on the latest developments in the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia — a topic that has remained at the center of international discussions.

In addition, ministers will consider ways to strengthen cooperation in the areas of security and defense, taking into account political challenges and the need to ensure regional stability and security.

Furthermore, Kallas will share details from her recent visit to Montenegro, Albania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she emphasized the EU’s commitment to the integration of these countries into European structures.
