Avni Dehari, the presiding official of yesterday’s inaugural parliamentary session for the formation of Kosovo’s new institutions, announced that he will send a formal letter today to President Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, requesting clarification and interpretation of the current parliamentary deadlock.

In a statement to RTK, Dehari explained that he is uncertain whether a new session will be convened within 48 hours as is generally expected, stating that a decision depends on receiving guidance from the President.

Yesterday’s session was interrupted by Dehari after it became evident that there was no majority support to proceed, particularly following the failure to approve the report confirming the MPs’ mandates.
