White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was asked by a reporter if the proposals for trade agreements were enough to extend breaks on reciprocal tariffs, or if the deals needed to be signed.

“Ask me in July when the deadline ends,” she said, adding that there is still plenty of time remaining.

Leavitt emphasized that they are working as quickly as possible to ensure that agreements can be made.

Regarding China, Leavitt stated that they are “doing very well” in working toward a potential deal, as reported by BBC.
