The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, emphasized that his party will only vote for the election of the Assembly Speaker if Vetëvendosje (LVV) changes its proposed candidate.
“Unfortunately, nothing has changed from the previous sessions. We have offered a solution — to propose other unifying candidates. If that happens, a vote will likely take place today. But if the candidate is not changed, we will remain in the same situation,” Haradinaj stated.
He also said he would not agree to meet with Kurti for consultations.
“I would not accept a personal meeting with Kurti, but our party’s deputy chairwoman, Time Kadrijaj, is authorized to consult with Mr. Dehari,” Haradinaj declared before the continuation of the session.
