The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi, has criticized Vetëvendosje (VV), saying the party is mocking the citizens of Kosovo.
In his remarks following the failure of the constitutive session, Krasniqi expressed regret over the ongoing situation in the Assembly of Kosovo.
According to him, Albin Kurti’s party continues to act with the same old mentality.
“I express my regret to all citizens for this mockery of their will by the leading party, which has brought us to the Assembly for the eighth time and continues to behave with the same mentality,” Krasniqi said.
He went on to deliver three key messages directed at VV regarding the current political deadlock.
“I want to deliver three messages. First, democracy works through majority, not imposition. Second, institutions belong to the people, not to any single political party. And third, we must all understand that the time of one-party rule and monism is over,” Krasniqi declared.
