The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, along with Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, visited the soldiers of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) as well as U.S. and other allied troops participating in the “Defender Europe” exercise.
During the event, Osmani emphasized the importance of cooperation and Kosovo’s readiness to contribute to such operations. She added that this engagement also demonstrates Kosovo’s readiness to become an equal member state of NATO.
“We are ready not only to contribute to such operations, but also to be an equal and full member state of NATO. I want to thank the U.S. generals who are not only here today but have been training and preparing alongside our soldiers for a long time,” Osmani stated during the visit.
The president also praised the “Defender 25” exercise as strong proof of the unwavering alliance between the United States and Kosovo.
