U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance praised American pilots for their exceptional precision in the recent bold attack on Iranian nuclear sites. He stated they managed to hit a target the size of a “washing machine” from halfway across the world.

“It’s truly an incredible operation, a testament to the power of the American military,” Vance told NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “These guys flew from Missouri. They didn’t land a single time.”

The Vice President appeared on Sunday morning’s show to provide more details on the unprecedented U.S. military strikes against Iran’s nuclear facilities. He reiterated that there was no interest in deploying American ground troops for a prolonged conflict.

Vance was seen standing behind President Donald Trump on Saturday evening as the President announced what was hailed as a “successful” operation. Senior Pentagon officials confirmed during a Sunday morning briefing that the strike involved seven B-2 bombers and a total of 125 military aircraft, including fighter jets and refueling tankers.

“They dropped 15,000-pound bombs on a target the size of a washing machine, and then they returned home safely without ever landing in the Middle East or stopping except for brief refueling. And, of course, they did this in the air,” the Vice President continued.

Vance stated that the U.S. had “significantly delayed” Iran’s nuclear program. However, when asked by host Kristen Welker how many years the program would be delayed, he declined to elaborate, citing “sensitive information.”
