As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered his speech at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), streets of New York City were filled with massive pro-Palestine protests.

Protesters condemned Israel for the killing of thousands of civilians in the Gaza Strip, carrying banners reading: “The Devil Is Here,” “Lift the Siege,” “Free Gaza,” and “Arrest Netanyahu.” Marchers repeatedly chanted: “Free Gaza, Free Palestine.”

The demonstrators also urged former U.S. President Donald Trump to stop supporting Netanyahu and his policies.

Inside the UN hall, several diplomats walked out in protest as Netanyahu began his speech. The Israeli leader denied allegations of genocide in Gaza and defended Israel’s military operations, calling them “legitimate.”

Netanyahu’s address was met with boos, whistles, and sharp criticism from attendees, highlighting the intense global scrutiny of Israel’s actions in Gaza.
