The NATO mission in Kosovo (KFOR) announced that the Turkish Reserve Operational Force has arrived in Kosovo for a temporary deployment.
The Turkish unit has assumed responsibilities from the Multinational Battalion of the Reserve Operational Force as part of a rotation plan overseen by the NATO Joint Force Command in Naples, Italy, KFOR stated.
Over the coming months, the battalion will conduct joint activities with other KFOR units and remain ready to respond to any developments in the security situation.
According to KFOR, “these forces enhance operational flexibility and readiness to respond to evolving security challenges” in Kosovo.
