Albanian national team striker Armando Broja emphasized ahead of the match against Serbia that team victory is more important than personal goals.
In a press conference, Broja stated that the only thing that matters are the three points:
“For me, the most important thing is to win the match and take the three points. Of course, I enjoy scoring, but it’s better to help the team win,” he said.
He added that the team is fully focused and aware of the significance of the match:
“We are focused and concentrated. We know it’s a big game. I have chances to score in any position, and I enjoy helping the team. The coach often reminds me to stay focused and take advantage of scoring opportunities to win the match,” Broja explained.
The Burnley striker stressed that winning is the main goal, regardless of who scores:
“I’m happy to provide assists; my mind isn’t only on scoring, but on winning. We have maximum chances, a tough group, but we will fight until the end, stay focused, and hope to win,” he concluded.
