Fatmir Limaj, leader of NISMA, emphasized that today citizens have the opportunity to improve life in their municipalities by going out to vote.
After casting his own vote, Limaj expressed hope that the local elections would reward candidates who are recognized for their work.
“All citizens of Kosovo have an extraordinary chance to assess the work and commitment of those who have served, and to give themselves the opportunity to improve their lives. Municipalities and citizens will always evaluate the work of each mayor individually, and I hope voting will reflect that. I hope that when the winning candidates announce their victories tonight, it will be a win not only for them but also for the citizens. There are many cases in Kosovo where tonight candidates can win together with the citizens. We expect such results,” he stated.
