The current mayor of Junik and candidate for a second term, Ruzhdi Shehu, shared a message with the municipality’s citizens emphasizing his commitment to the development of the villages Jasiq and Gjocaj.

In a Facebook post, Shehu highlighted the historical contribution of the residents of these villages to Junik and Kosovo as a whole. He also recalled projects completed during his first term, including the construction of irrigation channels, roads, a connecting bridge, and the expansion of municipal services.

Shehu promised that during his second term, he will continue with road asphalting, the extension of the electricity network, and improvements to the water supply system, aiming to transform Jasiq and Gjocaj into tourist centers that will drive development across Junik.

“With honest work, dedication, and clean hands, we will create the basic conditions for a dignified life,” Shehu wrote.
