Erling Haaland was the star in Manchester City’s 3-1 victory over Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium, during the 10th round of the Premier League.
The Norwegian striker scored twice, opening the scoring in the 17th minute and restoring City’s lead at 2-1 after Tyler Adams equalized in the 25th minute, with an assist from Ryan Cherki.
Nico O’Reilly sealed the final result in the 60th minute. For Haaland, this was his 26th goal for club and country, while in the Premier League he has scored 13 goals in 10 matches.
With this win, City climbs to second place with 19 points, six behind leaders Arsenal. Meanwhile, Bournemouth suffered their first defeat after eight matches and sits fourth with 18 points, the same as Liverpool in third place.
