At the LDK headquarters in Pristina, celebrations began after Përparim Rama was declared the winner according to the exit poll.
The T7 exit poll showed Rama winning with 52.8% of the vote.
LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku extended his congratulations to Rama on his victory.
