Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), visited the United States this week, meeting with Congressman Keith Self, Chair of the Subcommittee on Europe in the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
During the meeting, Haradinaj thanked Congressman Self for his steadfast support for Kosovo and acknowledged the role of the U.S. in backing the Albanian people, from the struggle for independence to the consolidation of democracy.
Haradinaj also emphasized the importance of Kosovo’s accession to NATO, describing it as a crucial step for the country’s future and for strengthening the strategic partnership between Kosovo and the United States.
