Today, at the conference hall of the “Central” Police Station, the 5th Regular Elective Assembly of the Kosovo Police Union was successfully held, during which new leadership bodies of this important union mechanism were elected.
Following a transparent and democratic process, with commitment to the future of the rights of Kosovo Police members, Mr. Avdi Hoti was elected by majority vote as the new President of the Kosovo Police Union, while Ms. Edita Azemi was elected as Vice President.
On this occasion, the head of the Union of Independent Trade Unions of Kosovo (BSPK), Mr. Atdhe Hykolli, addressed the attendees, emphasizing the crucial role of the union in strengthening the position of police officers, advancing their rights, and building a professional, dignified, and secure working environment for all.
The newly elected President, Mr. Avdi Hoti, addressed the delegates and participants with words of gratitude:
“This Assembly is a testament to internal union democracy and our commitment to advancing the rights and well-being of Kosovo Police officers. Through this forum, we not only reflect on past achievements and challenges, but also pave the way for the future – a safer, fairer, and more dignified future for all members of the Kosovo Police. We are aware of the challenges our police force faces, both professionally and socio-economically, but we are equally determined to fulfill all the demands of the police personnel through strong union organization and advocacy.”
The Assembly concluded in a spirit of unity, responsibility, and cooperation, wishing the newly elected leadership success and determination in the noble mission of representing and protecting the dignity of the Kosovo Police.
