The Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Dimal Basha, has extended his Christmas greetings to all Catholic believers in the Republic of Kosovo, wishing them peace, good health, kindness, and harmony.

According to a statement from the Assembly, describing Christmas as a celebration that emphasizes faith and the need for unconditional help for others—supporting those most in need and standing by those committed to justice and collective well-being—Speaker Basha highlighted interfaith harmony, mutual understanding, and national unity as values built and passed down through generations.

The Speaker of the Assembly also recalled Albanian national revival figures such as Pashko Vasa and Naim Frashëri, who promoted these values and transformed them into a clear message: above all our differences stands love for the homeland.

“These values are the foundation of our coexistence and have united us across generations, making us stronger as a society and as a state. May this holiday be a warm family joy, filled with hope and faith for better days ahead for everyone. Merry Christmas, and may you celebrate many years to come in peace, love, and prosperity,” Speaker Dimal Basha said in his message addressed to Albanians of the Catholic faith.
