A bus caught fire on this Saturday morning at the exit of the Kardhiq Tunnel in Gjirokastër.
The police reported that the flames ignited while the bus was in motion, transporting passengers on the Tirana-Saranda line.
The passengers panicked, but fortunately, all of them managed to exit quickly, and so far, no injuries have been reported.
As seen in the photos, the flames completely engulfed the bus, while a large cloud of smoke covered the area.
According to the police, the cause of the fire is suspected to be a defect in the engine, and personal belongings of the passengers inside were also burned. /EuronewsAlbania
