The Commander of the Multinational Specialized Unit of KFOR, Colonel Alberto Santini, led the Carabinieri Medal Parade for the Italian and Moldovan forces in Prishtina.
Santini expressed his gratitude to the awarded personnel for their significant contributions to KFOR’s efforts in ensuring a secure environment for all communities living in Kosovo.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate – based on United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 – to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and to freedom of movement, at all times and in an impartial manner. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders,” the statement reads.
