Milorad Dodik, leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD), declared a convincing victory for his party and thanked voters in Republika Srpska following the election results.
Dodik also expressed particular gratitude to Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, wishing him success in Serbia’s upcoming elections and saying that the outcome would be important for the Republic of Serbia.
“I believe that we will be able to use the wave we have raised and, in that way, reach Serbia more strongly as well,” Dodik said, according to Alo.
During his victory remarks, Dodik also thanked U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
His comments came as he addressed supporters following what he described as a strong SNSD result in the election.
