On the third anniversary of the killing of Kosovo Police Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku in Banjska, Zvečan, EULEX also paid tribute to his memory.
In a post, EULEX Head of Mission Antero Lopes said that those responsible must be brought to justice.
Following today’s official memorial ceremony in the village of Samadrexhë, Lopes said:
“It was a particular honour for me to pay tribute to his memory and his sublime sacrifice in defence of the rule of law.”
