Britain’s Foreign Secretary David Cameron, after the Russian occupation army’s unsuccessful attempt to breach Ukraine’s defenses in the Kharkiv region, spoke of an “extremely dangerous” moment in the ongoing war.

He spoke in an interview for Sky News, reports Ukrinform.

“We must do everything we can to help the Ukrainians,” Cameron said after the unsuccessful attempt by Russian troops to launch an offensive towards Kharkiv.

He also mentioned Britain’s recently announced £3bn multi-year military aid package for Ukraine.

In addition, the British politician said that it would have been better if the aid package for Ukraine from the United States worth 61 billion dollars had arrived earlier, because “Ukraine was suffering in the ground war.”

“We all need to do more, that’s what the UK is doing… But American money will make a difference – so we need to get in there, give the Ukrainians the support they need,” he said. the head of the British Foreign Office.

At the same time, Cameron noted that the fighting spirit of the Ukrainian army remains strong.

“I was there the other day – their morale is still strong, they are still inflicting terrible casualties on the Russians. If only the Russians could see how many people are being lost,” he said.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Russians intensified attacks targeting areas of Kharkiv, while President Volodymyr Zelensky declared that as of Friday morning, May 10, Russia’s offensive in the direction of Kharkiv was halted.
