Four people have been killed, and 17 injured in a Russian attack on the city of Izium, located in the Kharkiv region of eastern Ukraine, local authorities have reported.

It is believed that a ballistic missile was used in the attack, according to Reuters.

Ukrainian media sources indicate that the government building in the city center, which has no military facilities or targets, was hit, and several residential buildings were damaged.
