Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, Donika Gërvalla, is participating in a joint meeting of the Foreign Ministers of EU member states, as well as candidate and potential candidate countries, held in Warsaw, Poland.
In a post on her Facebook page, Gërvalla stated that she attended the meeting at the invitation of the Polish Presidency of the EU Council and Poland’s Foreign Minister, Radosław Sikorski.
Gërvalla emphasized that Kosovo is not only seeking EU integration but is also contributing actively to the European project.
“Kosovo, as the most stable democracy and the most pro-European country in the Western Balkans, participated in this forum with clear positions and the conviction that our voice is indispensable for the future of the region. As a state that has built functional institutions, strengthened the rule of law, and demonstrated unwavering commitment to reforms and European values, the Republic of Kosovo brings the experience of a country that not only seeks integration but also contributes responsibly to the common European project,” Gërvalla stated.
In Warsaw, she reaffirmed that the Republic of Kosovo is and remains a reliable ally and partner of the European Union, a factor of stability, security, and democratic progress in the region and across the continent.
