Acting President of Kosovo Albulena Haxhiu has invited the leaders of Kosovo’s political parties to a meeting at the Presidency.
According to sources cited by IndeksOnline, the meeting is scheduled for Tuesday at 9:00 a.m.
The meeting is expected to address the ongoing institutional deadlock caused by the failure to fully constitute the Assembly of Kosovo.
Sources say the meeting aims to facilitate political dialogue on the issue of the presidency, alongside efforts to ensure the functioning of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
The political deadlock emerged during the first constitutive session following the swearing-in of members of the 11th Legislature, when LVV leader Albin Kurti requested additional time to decide on the candidate for Speaker of the Assembly.
The same issue was repeated during the second constitutive session, with the Assembly still failing to complete its constitution.
