As Iran observes a multi-day funeral procession for its assassinated Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a fierce warning to Tehran, declaring that any Iranian official who attempts to advance plans for the destruction of Israel will face a similar fate.
According to a ministerial spokesperson, Katz explicitly confirmed Israel’s direct responsibility for the assassination of the Supreme Leader, signaling a monumental shift in regional dynamics.
Direct Confirmation of Khamenei’s Elimination
Speaking dynamically through a spokesperson, Defense Minister Katz addressed the ongoing state funeral in Iran with a stark message regarding the consequences of regional aggression:
“Ayatollah Khamenei, whose funeral ceremony is taking place right now, was eliminated by Israel because he initiated and led the plan to destroy Israel within Iran and across the entire region. The Defense Minister also turned his attention to the ongoing state-orchestrated public mourning events in Tehran. He leveled harsh criticism against attendees at the funeral ceremonies who were documented shouting inflammatory political slogans, including “Death to Trump.”
Katz publicly condemned the crowds, branding the anti-Trump chants as “shameful.” He further stressed that the aggressive rhetoric displayed during the funeral processions “reveals the true, unyielding nature of the Ayatollah regime” to the international community.
