Italian Carabinieri assigned to the NATO-led KFOR Multinational Specialized Unit (MSU) conducted patrols in North Mitrovica, reinforcing KFOR’s visible and continuous presence on the ground.
According to KFOR, these patrols contribute to maintaining situational awareness throughout the region while supporting a safe and secure environment for all communities.
“Such efforts reflect KFOR’s commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment and guaranteeing freedom of movement for all people living in Kosovo, in a transparent and impartial manner,” the statement said.
The patrols are part of KFOR’s ongoing mission to maintain stability, security, and freedom of movement across Kosovo in accordance with its mandate.
