Three days before the U.S. presidential elections, Democratic candidate Kamala Harris has addressed the Albanian-American community in an open letter, highlighting the strong bonds between Albanians and the United States.
In the letter, published by Faton Bislimi, a political activist in the U.S. and former member of the Kosovo Assembly, Harris emphasizes American support for Kosovo’s independence and assures continued support if she wins the White House in the upcoming November 5 election.
“Albanian Americans have made invaluable contributions to our nation for generations, demonstrating a profound commitment to family, community, and the pursuit of freedom. Hundreds of thousands of Albanian Americans live in the United States, and the resilience of the Albanian-American community continues to inspire us all,” Harris begins her letter.
