KFOR Commander Major General Özkan Ulutaş hosted Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, at the mission’s headquarters in Pristina, where the two officials discussed the security situation in Kosovo and the ongoing activities of NATO’s peacekeeping mission.
During the meeting, General Ulutaş provided an overview of current developments on the ground, KFOR’s operational priorities, and the mission’s continued commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all communities in Kosovo.
The KFOR Commander also praised Albania’s contribution to NATO’s peacekeeping mission, describing the country as an important partner in efforts aimed at promoting stability and security throughout the region.
KFOR reiterated that it continues to carry out its mandate in accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 and remains committed to close cooperation with the Kosovo Police and EULEX in ensuring security, stability, and the rule of law.
