Latvian and Italian troops serving in NATO’s Kosovo Force (KFOR) conducted a patrol in Zubin Potok today, aiming to ensure security and freedom of movement in the area.

KFOR emphasized that these efforts are part of their daily mission to maintain a safe environment for all communities living in Kosovo.

“KFOR continues to implement its mandate—based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999—to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities in Kosovo and to ensure freedom of movement at all times,” the mission stated.

KFOR also reaffirmed its close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in maintaining security and stability.
