Military Police units from the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Austria, and Switzerland, assigned to the NATO-led KFOR’s Regional Command East in Kosovo, conducted a joint live-fire exercise at the Camp Bondsteel range.

According to a KFOR Facebook post, the multinational units used the M17 service pistol to maintain accuracy, speed, and tactical coordination, while simultaneously enhancing their shooting skills and operational readiness.

Such exercises aim to strengthen professional interaction and cooperation among NATO partners, helping to increase readiness to respond effectively in any potential situation.

“KFOR continues to carry out its mandate, based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999, to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo, and to ensure freedom of movement at all times in an impartial manner. KFOR closely cooperates with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective security roles,” KFOR stated.
