Glauk Konjufca, Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, during his stay in New York for the UN Security Council session, held meetings with representatives of the Albanian diaspora in the United States.
He emphasized that these meetings mark the beginning of a series of engagements aimed at strengthening the support and organization of the diaspora, describing it as a key factor for the country’s development.
Konjufca praised the historical role of the diaspora in Kosovo’s path toward freedom and statehood, adding that it remains crucial today for Euro-Atlantic integration and for strengthening ties with the United States.
