Deputy Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly Ardian Gola is participating in the autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), being held in Strasbourg from September 28 to October 2.
According to the Kosovo Assembly, members of PACE will discuss a range of issues related to democracy, human rights and the rule of law in Europe and beyond during the session.
Key topics on the agenda include the observation of Kosovo’s June 7, 2026 early parliamentary elections, strengthening media pluralism and independence, and the implementation of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights.
The agenda also includes discussions on support for Ukraine, the role of the diaspora and migrants in social cohesion and democratic engagement, and the impact of artificial intelligence on the future of work.
During his stay in Strasbourg, Gola will attend PACE plenary sessions, meetings of the Socialist Group and sessions of relevant parliamentary committees.
The Kosovo Assembly said Gola is expected to contribute to discussions on the issues on the Assembly’s agenda and participate in parliamentary debates.
On the sidelines of the session, Gola is also scheduled to hold meetings with parliamentarians and representatives of various international institutions and organizations.
