Kosovo is officially on the agenda of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, where it is expected to become an associate member of the alliance.
In the agenda published by the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, the topic of discussion will also be the challenges in the Western Balkans.
“The Assembly is expected to approve a deep reform of partnerships and to decide on the requests of Malta and the Assembly of Kosovo to become associate members”, the agenda states.
In addition to ongoing challenges in the Western Balkans, the topic of discussion at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly will also be strategies to support NATO partners.
“These discussions will underline the Assembly’s commitment to stability in key regions of strategic interest, as well as to promoting broader dialogue on global challenges,” the announcement states.
