The Kosovo Police said it had taken the necessary security measures for today’s protest, held at 4:00 p.m. in Skënderbeu Square in Pristina, to ensure public safety, maintain public order and facilitate the peaceful conduct of the demonstration.
According to the Kosovo Police, the protest ended at around 5:50 p.m. peacefully and without any incidents.
The Kosovo Police thanked the organizers and thousands of participating citizens for the civic conduct, culture and peaceful behavior they demonstrated, particularly for following the instructions given by police officers during the protest and while traveling through road traffic.
“Peaceful protest, responsible behavior and respect for police instructions contributed to the smooth, peaceful and safe conduct of the demonstration,” the Kosovo Police said in its statement.
