A Combat Engineer Platoon from the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) has achieved remarkable success at the multinational “Unity Day” competition. This event, held as part of the “Defender Europe 25” field exercise and its “Immediate Response 25” component in Croatia, showcased the KSF’s growing capabilities.

Two KSF engineer teams participated in the challenging competition, facing rigorous physical, technical, and cooperative trials against teams from Croatia, Germany, and Slovenia. Demonstrating exceptional performance, the Kosovan teams secured first and third place among 15 participating teams, underscoring the professional skills and high operational readiness of KSF members.

This marks the first international engagement for the Combat Engineer Platoon, a newly established capability within the KSF. Their deployment to Croatia was carried out in cooperation with the Mechanized Brigade of the Croatian Armed Forces, as part of one of Europe’s largest multinational exercises.
