A delegation from the Kosovo Security Force (FSK), consisting of representatives from the National Guard and the Logistics Command, conducted an official visit to the Support Command of the Armed Forces of Albania (FARSH), further reinforcing the growing military partnership between Kosovo and Albania.
The delegation was led by Colonel Valdet Berisha, Deputy Commander of the FSK Logistics Command, and was welcomed by Brigadier General Aleksandër Pando, Commander of the Albanian Armed Forces Support Command, along with his staff.
According to FSK, the meetings focused on cooperation in logistics, military training, and civil emergency management. The Kosovar delegation was introduced to the mission, organizational structure, and operational capabilities of Albania’s Support Command and toured key logistics and emergency-response facilities.
During the visit, FSK representatives received detailed briefings on the organization, equipment, and procedures used to support military operations and respond to emergency situations. The two sides also exchanged professional experiences and explored opportunities to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Discussions emphasized enhancing operational capabilities, advancing training programs, and strengthening logistics systems, all of which are considered essential for modern military readiness and regional security cooperation.
FSK highlighted that the visit was conducted in a spirit of partnership and mutual trust, contributing to greater interoperability and deeper institutional ties between the Kosovo Security Force and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania.
The visit reflects the continuing commitment of both countries to strengthening defense cooperation and improving their ability to work together in military and emergency-response operations.
