Acting Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti held a farewell meeting with Eva Palatova, acting head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, thanking her for her service and contribution during her tenure.
According to the Office of the Prime Minister, Kurti highlighted the good cooperation between Kosovo’s institutions and the European Union.
During the meeting, Kurti stressed the need for the EU to take the next step regarding Kosovo’s application for membership by granting the country candidate status, followed by a merit-based accession process.
Kurti has repeatedly called on the EU to advance Kosovo’s integration process, arguing that progress should be based on the country’s reforms and performance.
The acting prime minister also wished Palatova success in her future professional engagements and told her that she would always be welcome in Kosovo.
