The situation at Kosovo’s border crossings has been reported as generally calm in recent days, with short waiting times at most entry points for travelers entering the country.

However, longer delays are currently being recorded at the Jarinjë border crossing, where vehicle queues stretch up to half a kilometer. According to the latest data, waiting times at Jarinjë can reach up to 50 minutes, primarily affecting members of the diaspora returning home for the end-of-year holidays.

At the Dheu i Bardhë and Merdarë border crossings, the situation remains more favorable, with waiting times of up to 15 minutes reported.

Meanwhile, other border points are operating smoothly, with standard waiting times of approximately five minutes, indicating stable traffic flow and efficient border procedures.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely and advise travelers to plan their journeys accordingly, especially those intending to use the Jarinjë crossing during peak hours.
