Lutfi Haziri, Vice President of LDK, spoke on T7’s Pressing program regarding concerns that Kosovo might enter an unconstitutional path in electing its president.
Haziri stated:
“By tomorrow at noon, the constitutional deadline closes, and the Republic of Kosovo will remain without a president. This would constitute a failure of institutions to elect a president. I eagerly await President Vjosa Osmani’s position on this entire political situation, which I believe will provide clarity.”
Regarding the candidacy of Glauk Konjufca, Haziri added:
“Our position concerning Glauk Konjufca’s nomination will crystallize tomorrow; until today, we have not had a final stance…”
This emphasizes the political tension as Kosovo approaches the constitutional deadline for electing its new president.
