Maltese Prime Minister Robert Abela has reaffirmed his country’s support for Kosovo’s European path in a congratulatory letter to Prime Minister Albin Kurti following his re-election as head of government.
In his letter, Abela praised the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries and expressed his readiness to continue close cooperation and further strengthen the bonds of friendship between Malta and Kosovo.
“Malta and the Republic of Kosovo enjoy excellent bilateral relations, and I look forward to continuing our close cooperation as we further strengthen the bonds of friendship between our two countries,” Abela wrote.
In addition to highlighting relations between the two countries, the Maltese prime minister reiterated Malta’s unwavering support for Kosovo’s European aspirations and wished the country success in its European integration process.
“I wish to reaffirm Malta’s unwavering support for Kosovo’s European aspirations and to wish you success as your country continues to make progress on its European path,” the letter stated.
